#nura is exceptional: ever got annoyed by an android feature? The nura community helps you to learn about any annoyance in mobile linux. They share there knowledge and help to extend your own capabilities to change those things. They help you really owning your device by being able to understand how it works and helping you to contribute changes to the system.
And if you're not interested in that on some devices it works reliable with minor drawbacks like bad camera support.
Same for #Mobian, #Bengalos and #PureOS.
I've been using Nura for the last year. I love their concept of #duranium to build a system that catches provides #SecureBoot and a/b updates. Same for #BengalOS the showcase system for beautiful #Phosh.
The whole #LinuxOnMobile ecosystem is catching up with android in a breathtaking speed these days - flying on #freedom and driven by friendly, cooperative and very welcomig communities.

While I'm not on #Nura, I'm on #Mobian, which is pretty similar. E.e. it is an orthodox Linux distribution on a mobile device. One is based on Alpine, the other on #Debian.
The most popular UI on both systems is probably #phosh, which is featureful and looks fresh and modern — at least to an #Emacs addicted greybeard like myself.
One of the things that makes #phosh look a bit unfinished is the fact that we don't show a representation of launching apps in the overview (while they show a splash screen).
We have a merge request for that now and it will hopefully land for 0.52 (or 0.53). This also fixes not being able to interact with apps while one is launching. Together with some pending activation fixes that should make things look more polished and will allow us to fix some other long standing bugs.
